About Petra Gate Hostel and Hotel
Our cozy and family run B&B is located on a mountainside near the city center of Wadi Musa, it is the ideal base to explore the area. The Red Rose city of Petra, one of the new world wonders and without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction is just a short 5 minute drive away from the B&B.
Our B&B offers 4 guest rooms, each has a private bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet.
The shared area consists of a living room with facilities to make coffee and tea, a refrigerator and satellite TV. The balcony offers you a beautiful view on the village of Wadi Musa.
After a long day in Petra you can relax in our garden or on the terrace or you can enjoy a well deserved cup of sweet mint tea in the Bedouin tent.
This perfect combination of Belgian friendliness and typical Jordanian hospitality will make your stay in Petra an unforgettable experience. It will be our great pleasure to share our love for this stunningly beautiful country with you.

I had a chance to stay there for 3 days. The room was nothing special and honestly expected a bit more than just the bed and the toilet/shower right next to it separated with a curtain only.No TV or other extras. It was nice and warm though and comfortable to sleep. Offers a good view on the town. Staff is very friendly and helpfull with basicly all the info you might need. The place is right on the main street but it is nicely quiet. Close proximity with ATM, small reastaurants,exchange bureau and major bus station. The old Petra ruin site is some 15 minutes walk down the hill.As i said don't expect much, but for a dedicated traveller like me it was all i needed.WIth no doubts i recomend it

It was a very very good stay at the hostel, especially the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle to the site of Petra and they organize a taxi for the way back to the border which is much less expesive than the regular one. Highly recomendable.
Very friendly owner who will do his best to make your stay pleasant. The hotel is very simple but the rooms are clean and the shower provides hot water. If you bring your own laptop, there is free wi fi.

have reservation to petra gate hotel , the taxi from aqaba he want to send me in another hotel, and he said the Petra gate hotel is not good, but i strongly push him to send me in Petra gate hotel i was very cold and when i arrive to Petra gate hotel one guy he open the door and with his welcome smile and say kenechowa japaness language, i dont know that he is the manager, his really great and very helpful and if you need advice his willing to help you , about the room is very clean and tidy, very good breakfast and lunch box too,

TAKE NOTE: About the h water just open first the you get the very very hot water nice shower,
i highly recommended to all my family and friend also to all the traveller

Very basic, but gives the traveller a good feeling.
The stuff is nice, including the Manager.
Rooms are very basic, including showers.
Breakfast is extra (very simple as well).
Location is also not to bad.If you are on a budget, Go there. If you can go for something better,
