Bush House & Camp, Nairobi, Kenya

Nice comfortably house with quiet relax garden and environment. All staffs are really friendly and helpful. Clean room but still have mosquitoes. It's far from city center and seems like no taxi driver know this place. Difficult to getting around, only by 15 min walk on the dusty road to catch matatu on Langata road. The taxi service is very expensive, start from 1000 ksh in any distance and any leg (though we just get around Karen museum area)e.g. to Carnivore 1000 Ksh, to Giraffe center 1500 ksh oneway(we catch local taxi for just 400 ksh on the return).

Recommended for rest after the safari but be careful of the taxi price which is the only way to get out after dark!

When I arrived in Nairobi, there was great confusion amongst the taxi drivers as to where Bush House was and I could get no reply from the two numbers that had been given to me to ring if any problems I am afraid I abandoned any chance of going there and found another extremely pleasant and easily accessible Camp and backpackers hostel called Underhill Campsite and Backpackers which I can highly recommend
