dk112 Great location, very helpful staff with itenary and tour planning, good english spoken, lounge and eating area comfortable, well heated, front door key pad lock so secure. Rooms have large lockers and cleaned daily, bathroom adequate, Kitchen small and fridge not large enough.
jeanfrancois.cr POSITIVES: Very warm welcome with tea and cakes! Excellent bedroom: very large, king size comfortable bed, built in wardrobe, very quiet. Very good internet facilities: either with a practical internet station near the rooms or with a fast WiFi connection. Lovely Labrador called Mamu giving a good home feel for this guest house. Perfect location, close to everything! NEGATIVES: Dreadfull breakfast: very thin slices of cold and stale toasted bread. Very thin and very few slices of dry sponge cake. The worst breakfast we had so far in Argentina after 3 weeks of travelling! The website (in Spanish) says that breakfast consists of HOMEMADE BREAD & ORANGE JUICE. Absolutely not! Also, unfortunately, there is no "public" space to relax or do what ever you want to do outside your room (meet other guests, write, read, etc). There is a room with a large table seating about 8 near the kitchen, but the couple running the guest house is always using it in the evening to entertain their own friends and family. It is a shame that we had to stay in our room all the time. This guest house has a great potential to be just what most travellers wants. However, breakfast MUST be improved and a public area MUST be provided to achieve that.
Anna22 Friendly multilingual staff. Easy walk to main shopping area. Tours and excursions can be booked at reception. Warm comfortable bedrooms. Simple breakfast provided. Large kitchen with lots of storage space for food and large eating area. The weather was freezing during my stay but Perikos was always warm and cosy.

tomasvalas Stunning kitchen with pro stove and oven, perfect for many meals at the same time. Large and sunny common room. We stayed in several different rooms, and all were clean and comfy. If you forget all that pines trees you may be able see the lake. Mostly great staff. Hostel is located on main road 4km from centre, however buses are not always on time. Last but not least, while in Bariloche, don't miss best steak ever at El Boliche de Alberto .... ask for Ojo de Bife (not on the menu) Definitely coming back.
SeekUp Nice place to stay, very clean and the bathroom was quite nice. The common area isn't very big; there's a small couch and a couple of chairs apart from the two big picnic-style tables used for eating. The hostel is located on what seems to be like hostel row, but it was never an issue in terms of noise or anything. You do have to climb a hill to get there, which isn't a big deal, but something to keep in mind. The staff is very helpful, and you can even book tours from the front desk.

ecment Busy hostel downtown, about $10 cab ride from train/bus terminal. Its a bit pricy, but then, so is everything else in Bariloche. Good facilities, reasonable breakfast, beer & wine for sale at reception. Like every other hostel I have stayed at in SA, they really NEED to invest in some decent heavy duty kitchen utensils. Restaurant prices being what they are in Bariloche, just about everybody was self catering, and patiently waiting for their turn to use one of the very few and incredibly beat up pots & pans. The staff here are extra friendly, and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

selinabayl I had a great stay at the hostel. It was fantastic value and the staff were very friendly. They were were really helpful when it came to taking trips and would ring up local companies for info on buses, trips, airport etc. The double room I was in was lovely, cleaned every day and the shower was fantastic. I had a lovely view over the lake. The only thing that I would say and it´s absolutely tiny is that they mention skype on the website, but you do need to bring your own headset.
