l.robey We enjoyed our time at Lagares Hostel. It is a bit of a walk into the town but a nice walk and the staff were really helpful with maps to point us where to go. The rooms were comfortable and they cleaned the bathrooms well and frequently. They also had really big lockers in the rooms which fitted packs in easily. Breakfast was good, internet access is good and they have a smallish TV and a DVD collection which is good too. They could also help you organise tours. Overall I would recommend it.
demelza.sa Very organized, friendly and helpful staff, always cleaning! Both kitchens were well equipped, organized and clean the majority of the time. On a quiet street so the only noise came from guests inside. Some sort of activity going on every evening and a free glass of wine. WIFI reasonably fast and wide-spead. Breakfast was abundant, Eggs, fruit, pastries, coffee, tea, juice, etc and always enough of everything. It's a large hostel that they manage to keep running very smoothly. I would stay there again!

Danielle.allen The stay was wonderful and for a great price we got beds, a clean shower, internet access and breakfast. Towels were $10 pesos each. It was a little far from the center of the city, but still within walking distance. The price was good, but I do not recommend booking from this site because I got double charged for my bed. It charged by CC $13 US dollars to hold the reservation and when we got to the Hostel the lady thought it was in pesos, so she made me pay more than I should have, and didnt understand that I already payed approx. $52 pesos, and should have just needed to pay $8 more pesos for my share of the room...we had 8 girls. So I ended up paying 47 more pesos for a 60 pesos room.

tomasvalas Very convenient getting to/from bus station, and fairly close to center. A bit noisy due to traffic if you are in the 6bed dorm on the streetside. The 12 bed dorm was quiet and recently renewed. Helpful staff, clean facilities, and a nice large kitchen. Breakfast was not very good, just pastries and Tang. Hostel was well-secured (Alcatraz-like :-) - cameras, receptionist/security/judo guy ) and they had nice big lockers. We enjoyed our stay here.
