bottrepa We would highly recommend Aijpel. People who run it are very helpful and very friendly, go out of their way to assist your stay in Ushuaia. The lady speaks quite good English. Only small problem is that we thought we were reserving a room with private bath but was a shared bath.

franceswainwrig Fabulous! Great crew and we were really lucky to have stayed with them. Our flight to El Calafate was canelled so we had 8 hours to wait but the hostel was happy to let us stay there during the day for free, hold our bags for us and use the computers and all their facilities. Only one block from the main street, great location, always warm at night, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
alain.corc Good welcome, very appropriate, in the peace. Good service(performance). But a little taken away from the center. It is an advantage, but can be an inconvenience.
Calle Antartida Argentina 270 Tierra Del FuegoExcellent 91%
georgeeepa brilliant staff and atmosphere - nice mix of people and wicked kitchen and communal areas . . . one of my favourite hostels of the trip
Sander If I could give this place 6 Stars I would. An extremely welcoming B&B, this was our favorite accommodation in all of Argentina. Being here felt like staying with a favorite uncle and aunt, and the living room is a great place to just relax at for a day. Good suggestions for where to go for dinner, good breakfast, good facilities (about our only complaint was the quality of the mattress, where we could feel the springs; but we've slept on much worse mattresses in South America) and an impeccable welcome. The walk to the center of town is a bit longer than ideal perhaps, but nothing too bad. One warning: don't stay here if you're trying to talk yourself out of visiting Antarctica soon; the screensavers of gorgeous Antarctica photos running on the guest computers will sap your will in no time! :)
laroumr The owner, Silvia was very helpful with recommendations of tours, places to eat among other suggestions she provided me with during my stay at her B&B. She speaks well English and French which was very useful. Silvia makes you welcome and feel comfortable and is always available to help you with advices ad never hesitate to ensure you spend a wonderful and memorable stay in Ushuaia. Again, thank you very much Silvia for everything! Michel LAROUCHE MONTREAL QC CANADA
amandafraga_ Very nice staff, with a good kitchen and good rooms. It´s a very nice place to stay, and the common area is very good.
icetop2 I recently stayed at Alba for 6 nights; overall I think is good value for money- Alba, the landlady is extremely helpful, and she is very afable and spends a lot of time with each client, telling them which are the best places to visit in Ushuaia. I was given an attic room, away from everybody, with a magnificent view of the mountains; the only problem were some dogs, belonging to the neighbours which howled all night. If you are a light sleeper dont take the attic room. Breakfast was very good during the whole stay; sheets were changed every other day and rooms were made very promptly. She has put the house for sale, so I don't know if she will carry on offering accomodation. Overall I recommend it
