Peter This is a grand old hotel and has a great charm to it. We stayed in the older wing of the hotel which was a little run down, but still a very enjoyable room. It's in a great location directly opposite Parliament. You can easily walk around the city from here. If you want some nice food, the European is a good pick right near here or for drinks head to the Supper Club.

Peter The highlight of this hotel is the pool and is really reason enough to visit. You see, it has a glass bottom at one end and is something like 12 floors off ground level. Slightly scary, but also a rather fun experience. Even though it wasn't the warmest of days when we visited, we still had to give the pool a go. The rooms are nice too -very well decorated. The hotel has a fairly quiet feel to it. Located on Little Collins, it's near heaps of great bars and restaurants. Would definitely like to go here again one day, maybe when it's a bit warmer ;)
