olealm We traveled through 9 European countries this summer and, although being the the most expensive hotel we stayed at, this was by far the best. The hotel interior and the room was in a class of its own, old Tyrolean style. The room was clean, including the bathroom and the private Jacuzzi. Breakfast was included and very satisfactory. The service was great and the staff was helpful, suggesting Innsbruck attractions worth visiting, in addition to thoroughly explaining how to use the local public transport. The suggestions were spot on, and we had an unforgettable day in Innsbruck with a Innsbruck 24 hour ticket bought at the hotel. The finishing touch, though, was the surroundings. The hotel is located just outside Innsbruck, capital of Austria’s western state of Tirol, with beautiful high mountains surrounding it. Austria is by far the most beautiful country we drove in (except our home country of Norway, of course ;) ) and this hotel truly amplified this impression.
mikeisnice Stunning location 20 mins bus ride from Innsbruck. Bus is the 4141 and leaves from Steig F outside the train station 15 mind past the hour. Hotel wasn't busy when we arrived and the advertised pool and sauna were not available. Food finished early but we got good grub at a pub down the road. Nice romantic gateway.

tonydick46 Fantastic handy location to old town. Staff excellent. Great breakfast included. Downside is that it is very noisy, close to a night club.

rosetaylor Not in a great location, but you can catch the bus. rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. facilities are great- big kitchen with laundry facilities. Cant check in until 6pm though, and reception is unattended until then, and the door is locked. luckily we found a side door to stow our bags. The receptionists are very helpful and obliging when they are there though.
