x The average starting price for a place to stay in Vienna is £64 per night.
lcasbur The hostel is very clean but quite far from the city centre (anyway, there is a bus that takes you directly there). We have liked it and recommend it.
rakhimova It was a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. I especially appreciated the helpfulness and kindness of the staff - Babback - thank you!
igbalaskal My husband and I spent a beautiful 5 days in Vienna. The location of the property was perfect for us. Shopping streets and underground stations are just a few minutes walk. Loved it. Igbala & Armin Sarajevo
jwcarnegie The pension is part of a boutique hotel. The biggest drawback is that the pension is a block away from the hotel where staff is located and where breakfast is served. Breakfast was extra at 10 Euros, but very good. Another big drawback was that there was no WiFi at the pension. I had to walk down to the hotel lobby to connect to the Internet. The room was adequate but very small. A bed lamp did not function and they substituted another lamp rather than repair the bed lamp. The room was conveniently located close to the main railway station and close to tram and subway stops. It a four star rating.
serkan.gul I have stayed 4 nights at this lovely pension. People are very friendly and room is very very clean. The room was very small but enough for one person. I strongly suggest this place to anyone who wants to stay near citycenter and does not spend too much for expensive hotels.
maorsi We got to the hotel by 10 am and to our very nice surprise we were able to check in at such an early time as our room was ready. Our very pleasant experience continued with the hotel every step of the way. The very nice receptionist conjured a map for us and pointed out the hotel, the closest metro line (which is incidentally across the road from the hotel and in a couple of stops away from downtown and couple of stops away from Schonbrunn to the other direction) and all the points of interest. At the morning we were treated to the complimentary continental breakfast, which included fruits, cereal and yogurt as well. We chose this hotel for its very convenient location, but it exceeded our expectations on so many ways.
Sander Nice place with very good atmosphere (insofar as I saw; stayed here with friends, which always makes one pay less attention to the hostel itself). Close to the westbahnhof, which is a useful location, if a bit far from the real center of town. Free WiFi was yay! My only gripe with the place was that it was rather noisy; sounds echoed down the hallway and the door to my room didn't stop any of it; you could hear every word spoken by groups of people coming up to their rooms late at night, as well as the vacuuming (?) outside the rooms around 7 AM. Still, I'd probably stay here again.
alexey.pom This is very nice place for stay in Vienna. Clean and large room, well equipped kitchen, calm and convenient location. The only disadvantege is a shortage of AC. This could be a problem in July or August. Nevertheless, I will certainly prefer this accomadation for my futrure visits to Vienna.
jenniesue I love Wombats! It is a great hostel chain and you always know what you are going to get. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with modern furniture and ensuite bathrooms. Loved the option of a women's only wing. Plenty of computers with internet access, laundry facilities, great bar and breakfast room. The hostel had plenty of info on local activities, excursions into other parts of Austria and restaurants/bars/nightclubs. Front desk will charge electronics for you and let you borrow guidebooks. Service was great and very professional. The hostel was just a couple of blocks from Westbanhof but a little way outside the historic city center. Plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here or at any other Wombats again!
