chakayek Everything was literally LOVELY and really far than my previous optimistic imagination. The room was beautiful, well decorated with comfortable bed and huge windows to the nature. Everything was very clean. Owners are kind and friendly. All the time they were ready to help us if we needed something. However the place is far from the bus station, but it was not a problem for us because they brought us there and picked up when we came back to Jabbeke; I loved that because we could have a little chat with them. Also, we had a longer chat with them and their lazy cat :) in their beautiful garden. The breakfast was delicious and romantic. During our stay and at the goodbye time, we were feeling that they are our uncle and aunt and not a B&B's owners. We will miss the place and them. I think although Bugge is a small city and I visited it in 3 days and there are a lot of other cities that I haven't visited, but in non so far future, I'll make an excuse for have another trip to Jabbeke and B&B Ter Brugge. trav_butler The two owners don't seem to communicate very well and although we were greeted with a friendly and helpful introduction there was no breakfast and when we checked out we were asked to pay double what we owed. This was cleared up pretty quickly with our confirmation sheet and we did get a spacious clean room for the night but not the warm cosy feeling you usually get with a B&B. Location is a little misleading as the main sites are more like 20mins walk than 10mins away but it is in a quiet neighbourhood which is nice.
leeollie Great place to stay. It's very convenient to get to from the train station and is very central, but in a nice quiet street. Great breakfast and lovely little dining area. Highly recommended.
domstoys Beautiful little spot. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It is a great building. Don't use if you don't like stairs and we didn't have AC in our room. BUt it was our favourite hotel on our trip. It took about 15mins to walk into town.
rufus_mac A stunning contempary building within easy walking distance of Brugge centre. The landlady, Therese, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room had it's own private balcony, and there was also a communal sitting area with a seperate balcony. You can help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day, and can also store your own food in the communal fridge, and use the cooking facilities. Seems more like a small hotel than a B&B. Overall, an outstanding level of service and accommodation. Would definately stay there again if returning to Brugge.
selfdestru Maria`s house is located in very quiet area, so if you are looking for restful night this is something for you. She is very kind and happy person, speaks some English, fluently Italian, French and Dutch, so communication is brilliant;] we went downstairs about 10 in the morning and she was still happy to serve homemade continental breakfast. Recommended.
carolbenne Excellent value for money provided by very nice proprietors. The location is excellent for a short walk into town and the railway station. The contintnetal breakfast is the best you are every likely to find. I return to Bruges I will stay here again. My wife support these views. Mr Carol Bennett, Cheltenham
gerobinson Very friendly and helpful staff. Difficult to find a hot shower but if you search enough its possible. Not the cleanest place but definitely livable and the location is great.

jenniesue St. Christopher's Bauhaus was a great place to stay in Bruges. It is located inside the outer circle of the canals and from the hostel it is easy to walk to the center of town. The hostel was clean and the room I stayed in was large and comfortable. It was very quiet at night. I was really impressed with the bar and restaurant attached to the hostel. Good food, good beer and you get a couple of great coupons to use when you check-in. Free wi-fi throughout the hostel was convenient. My only complaint was that there is only one toilet and shower per floor, which never seemed like enough. Overall, a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.
