trvlgrrl7 The staff is very friendly and helpful, (most of) the clean rooms have a balcony, a lovely breakfast is included and the location is great. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

bjblackloc Hostal Provenzal was excellent value, close to attractions and good bars/restuarants. Customer service was topnotch and we were able to arrange airport transfer and bus tickets at the front desk. Internet is available in the lobby. Carla, owner/operator, speaks English well and was available each day for us Spanish-challenged guests.
miss_impos Hotel Las Brisas is a chic looking boutique-like hotel, in a bustling part of La Paz. Rooms are clean and comfortable, however extremely small to move about. Internet is provided to all guests free, and breakfast is reasonably good (by South American standards) and open until 10am. The hotel is situated very close to the Witches market and Mercado Negro (black market); which is fantastic for during the day sightseeing, but a very dodgy and unsafe area after dark.
