ivecarolin Every time I travel around Brazil or go abroad I stay in hostels and I can tell that the Biergarten Hostel was by far one of the best ones I've stayed. It's very clean and cozy. It's got nice sheets, comfortable mattress and air conditioning. Also, they serve a delicious traditional Brazilian breakfast. The Biergarten Restaurant located right next to the hostel has good food at reasonable price. Last but not least, the staff is helpful and welcoming. I had a really nice stay in Ilha Grande and highly recommend the Biergarten for everybody that is looking for a decent and inexpensive service.

emilytakay I stayed there in a private room and then a dorm. The private room wsa amazing, a great view of the ocean. The dorm was a little small, but clean and with a decent bathroom. The location is amazing, and certainly the cheapest right on the beach. I was lucky enough to meet the owner and he was honest, super generous and helpful, which made my experience even better. The breakfast is basic, the same as you get most other places in Brazil (bread, butter, fruit, cake, ham, cheese). Unlike some other hostels, they didn´t tell you a higher price than they listed on the internet if you hadn´t made your booking online. They also organise fun events at the hostel, eg BBQs, boat trips etc. I had a positive experience there.
iara.meili The hostel was great!! Breakfast was the best ever, dinner was delicious as well. We loved our room. It was perfect for our groop of 6 people. We felt like at our own apartment. Sadly our door broke and water which came out of the toilet floated the bathroom. Thank you very much for repairing it so quickly! The staff was in general very very friendly. We loved the receptionists! We really did.
catherine.oneil We just left Hostel Casa Verde yesterday and had to write a review to recommend this place - our landlady was an absolute lady, very kind, warm and welcoming! We even got big hugs when we left. Unfortunately we dont speak Portugese or Spanish so it was disappointing that we couldnt get to know her better. We got great nights sleep up in the jungle with no light getting in. The breakfast was great, particularly as the rate to stay was quite low. It felt secure also. Hot showers too. Great location as up in the hill with beautiful scenery but still 5min stroll to the main street. Thanks for everything, we thoroughly enjoyed! Catherine and Jeff

hnkn i went there all by myself and it was pretty cool, lots of people from everywhere. their website informed me how to get there, so it wasn't really a big deal, except i should have already got into the beach mood and wear flipflops because all the way is through the sand to get there. i booked like 3 weeks before getting there and all people i talked to they got like different rates and promotions or sort of, so prices on desk is way too different (like 10 reals more expensive or so) than if u get it in advance. they have two nights with bbq which is good to get to know other people and drink a beer, snce the city has quite a dead nightlife. When you can't choose, it's OK to go to the bar right close to the church and extend your night. Staff was fine too and overall i'm coming back there!

nikkiphilb Our room was quite nice, the breakfast was ok but the kitchen wasn't particularly clean, and it would be good if the fruit provided at breakfast was covered because it was always covered with little flies so it wasn't very appealing. Otherwise, a quiet and pleasant stay, with a bit of a walk (5 minutes) into the centre of Abraao. Good value.
