emilytakay I stayed here in the low season (sept), so it was pretty quiet. However, i really enjoyed my stay there. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in Brazil, comes with the basics (eg diff types of bread, ham, cheese, coffee, tea,a couple of different cakes) but also with lots of fresh fruit, homemade jams, smoothies and juice. It's definitely more like a house, so don't expect state of the art facilities, but I liked it like that. They really try to make you feel as if you can use it like your own home. The staff were helpful & friendly, & I enjoyed the kayaking and cycling. They even made me a birthday cake for my birthday even though I was only there for 2 nights! They also occasionally do a dinner with all you can drink caipirinhas at a very reasonable price. Overall I had a good experience and would go there again. The place was clean, but sometimes you may have to remind them to pop into your bathroom etc. Also, beware of mosquitoes! Overall I had a really good time there and I'd go back, it's a place with a lot of character.

markcobb This beachfront hostel it's perfect if you just want to relax. You will enjoy the cool vibe and the staff it's amazing! You can stay in and unwind on a hammock or lie on the beach, or you can go out on one of their excursions. The rooms are very clean and it's very safe. Misti Chill is a perfect place to stay if you want no worries at all!

sukhykalsi The staff made this trip one of the best stays on our travels! We ad so much fun and it felt like a home. Each morning we received a welcome hug as we left, and in the evenings we had wonderfully home cooked Brazilian food. Town is a 10 minutes walk, and the best it tight opposite. I would definitely go back! 10/10!!

DogEnd Inherently grim. They have tried to brighten it up, but it will always be shady and dark and crammed. There's no way they could get 90 people there at one time without one of them falling into the river. The kitchen situation is odd. It's a long room with computers in it, so it is 'extremely forbidden' to fry your food. That is if you can get near the oven to use it. The hostel runs some sort of restaurant and employs a chef to cook all the meals, so from 6pm it's pretty much impossible to use the kitchen. If you are lucky enough to get a hob to use, you'll have the chef snooping around you making sure you don't use his precious utensils that, when he doesn't leave lying around all over the place, he likes to lock away. If the door isn't locked and you happen to think it's ok to use them, be prepared to be told off. To be fair, the cocktail lady is very nice and makes really strong caiprinhas. Have a couple of those and you won't mind sleeping on your mouldy pillows.

sylvaspost Very nice place, where you will feal as at home. Only one lack at this place- just one bathroom and toilet for two dorms. (one more for the private room, usually travellers are so nice to let you used the other one as well).
