igor68 I stayed in Hostel Mostel for 7 nights. I was never told that private rooms are located in less centrally located and VERY noisy Boulevard Hristo Botev. Room service even basic is non-existant. Word of warning Hostel Mostel does not accept anything but cash in local currency yet again exchange rate they apply when you pay rest of the anount due is unfavourable.

liza_chase I much enjoyed my stay at the Elysia hotel - the end of August and I was able to work in the garden with my laptop. The hotel is a little difficult to find and it would help if a 'real' hotel sign were put up. I also was not aware that this is a non-smokers hotel as this was not mentioned on the website from which I booked my room: http://www.travellerspoint.com/accommodation/21479-Elysia-Hotel/. For me as a smoker this was a bit of a surprise, and it needs to be made clear on the above mentioned web page....The hotel is run by a very friendly family with whom I will surely stay in touch once I move to Sofia to live in a couple of weeks:)

schulweg Lovely place run by friendly, helpful people. Very good breakfast. Everything is new so very clean and modern. My room was on the third floor which meant I couldn't get wifi in the room but this was the only slight downfall otherwise everything was great.
