teddyychung The location of this place is excellent, couple blocks from the sky train and Canadian line that runs to richmond and the airport. It's right in the middle of downtown where all the action is. The staff is helpful and friendly, and there is a common room with a pool table and couches. Now for the cons. The place is generally clean, but the bathroom can use a little scrubbing, and the table in the common room is sticky and grimy. If you get one of the rooms toward the street it will be quite noisy. The windows are thin and you will hear all the conversations of the drunkies on the streets. The rooms are also very small and it gets difficult to maneuver if there is one other person in the room.
Sander A wonderful small place, where the friendly owners make you feel right at home. Breakfast ingredients are extensive (eggs, mushrooms, bacon, etc), the DVD library is great, and overall I really can't find a fault with this place. It's certainly not the cheapest place in Vancouver, but well worth the money.
braddalton It was great but noisy... and at night there were drunken crazy people screaming outside...but this hostel is AWESOME and very friendly GREAT PLACE
firepig Sure it's noisy and more like a hostel than a hotel. But, and it's a big but. The location is fabulous. You walk out the door and you're in the middle of a huge (mostly young people) hangout area. You can pay triple the price at the nearby Sheraton Wall Center and have less fun!
