x The average starting price for a place to stay in Victoria is £60 per night.
esther__ My overall experience was good. The location was quite good (not in downtown, but at a short walking distance from the main attractions). I stayed in a private room and there was a fridge, which is of value when you are travelling! The only bad thing was that it was not very clean, though it was acceptable considering the price. Oh, and there was a traffic light for blind people just under my window, which was noisy at night. But I think that when you book it you can choose an inner room!
fhwill One of the friendliest hostels I've ever stayed in! The staff were great and we got some great discounts for local attractions staying here. The HI was in the 'cardboard city' end of town but I felt perfectly safe staying there.

mhb1 After looking at some previous reviews of this hostel, they don't really do it justice. The turtle is one of the better hostels I have stayed in, I have no gripes and would recommend it to anyone.
