coolsurfy Overall : Pay RMB200 for a deluxe private double room, expect to have at least towel, showel gel and shampoo provided but not at all, maybe this is just a hostel.... Location : very secluded and nice, on top of a hill but access is hard for taxis and abit far away from eateries area. But have a lot of public transport down the hill and also free bicycle rental for 1 hour. Good for those who wants to enjoy nature. Cleanliness : Very good except the dogs (three big dogs!) smell in the reception and cafe area. Really bad point for this. Value : A bit high for a double room if compare with the other budget chain hotel in the area. Facilities : Ok. Cafe food is super delicious and not too expensive. Worth a try! Service : Expect the Front desk to have more information about the West Lake especially to promote the on water stage performance 'Impression West Lake', but is disappointed...

fongalv While the location is a little further away from the west lake scenic area, it is actually a very clean and quiet little hostel. There are not many food places around, but it is located near the mountainous areas which had easy access to short morning treks very easily that gave great views of the surrounding areas.

mlimli It was the best hostel so far. Kind and helpful staff. The location is quite good. It's near Westlake but isn't any resaturant nearby. On the otherhand the hostel has their own restaurant with many different dishes. We really enjoyed our stay here.
areinstein This hostel was a bit hard to find but the location near West Lake is great, walking distance. The room was very spacious and amazing though in the middle of the night, between the roof and the ceiling I could hear what I think was a little rat chewing away at the wood. The bigger rooms are around a little courtyard space so there is a lot of outdoor space for critters to get around I guess but overall, the help from the staff was great, the rooms were very clean and you cant beat the value.

propsgirlnz If you are going to stay here, make sure you really study the directions. the ones given on the internet are a bit obscure. The beds are the most uncomfortable ive ever encountered.no mattress, as in only a duvet inner as a mattress, making it a very uncomfortable sleep. guests were able to check in at 2am, nothjing like having guests who turn on the lights and rattle round the dorm at that time of the morning organising. bathrooms wernt too clean, the same slimy soap on basins for the whole time we were there. On the up side, the receptionist was lovely, speaks great english, and was very helpful in tour information
jonas.lyxz I like it a lot, friendly and helpful staff, very close to West Lake, a nice bar/cafe and a cosy back yard to relax in. I would recommend it to all my friends.

fabianu Facilities were excellent and the staff were particularly helpful with things to do and places to go. They knew Hangzhou very well. Hostel within short walking distance of the south side of the lake. Rooms were clean and neat. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to visit Hangzhou. Hostel also had bikes to rent for riding around the lake - something that is worthwhile doing. Hostel does extremely well in providing comfortable and homely feel - especially in the middle of winter.
