ichavesg good Hostel Very good staff Only One problem, the location there is nothing around, but with the metro you don`t have any problem to go everywhere.
Gudders place was great but some rooms had bedbug。 receptionist was lovely & informative， bar man very rude。 toilet and shower very clean
seanpalmer Great hotel. Our room was at the back of the building which had an okay view and was very spacious and airey. It was nice having a good size bathroom with a large window. The room was serviced daily and we were provided with fresh towels. The room had its own water machine with hot and cold water, cable tv and fully working pc ( £3.00 ) per day for use of it or there was a cable for the use of your own laptop which was free of charge. The location is great as its close to Peoples Square and tube stations and it's easy to walk everywhere in the city by foot. There is a restaurant, cafe, and bar inside the hotel.

areinstein The place was great, very close to everything (two blocks away from the subway Line 2 from Pudong Airport). It is easy to find though the street that is on is a bit dodgy, the hostel is very clean. The rooms are superb, very very spacious, very clean bathrooms and cheap beer lol. The only thing I didnt like is that I saw two little roaches on the counter when I was checking out at 5 am.

isaackelly Very helpful staffs. Cozy environment. Skip Suzhou day trip...con by some monk at our last destination. Informed the management, hope they will change tour agency.
ckho The best thing about this place is it's location. It's right in front of the Bund and within walking distance to really great spots. I just stayed here for one night and I checked in the women's dorm so i'm going to comment just about that.. The room itself is really cozy and clean. There's a common desk for all. There are also lockers per person to store important belongings. The thing is though, there's just one light for the entire room, so every time someone enters even at the wee hours of the morning, the entire room is lit. If you're a light sleeper like me, bring a sleeping mask and earplugs and you're going to be fine. Near the lobby is an internet hub and also a wifi area on the 6th floor. The shared bath and toilet is a bit of a downer though. It's not the cleanest and there's a permanent stench hanging around. But again, it's all about location for this one.
caoxue2003 i would intended to book shibo youth hostel, but booked hongqiao one by mistake,by all lucky, the servers in hongqiao hostel were very warmth, making up the pity, furthermore, the hongqiao one was also convinent to expo,it just take about 30 minutes by metro,so in general,i am very satisfied to this hostel and encourage my friends to book this one too.
