Gemmalewis One of the best places we have stayed during our 2 months travelling in China! Fantastic, friendly management (thanks to Nadine and Mike for making us feel so welcome!) and staff and an excellent location (away from main town so quiet and rural, but near enough to hop in and out of town for dinner and drinks easily). Tours are very good too; check out the kayaking for a peaceful day on the river and also the cookery course is really good fun and excellent value for money when booked through the Outside Inn. Thoroughly recommended! :)

chloechloe A brilliant place for young singles/couples/backpackers who want to see more of the chinese way of living and meet interesting fellow travellers. The Wei family are super friendly and will help with all travel and sight-seeing needs. Rooms are simple but very clean and the family meals are INCREDIBLE. We stayed 4 nights and made sure we were in the dining room at 6pm all 4 nights. The food was better than anything we tried in town. NOT to be missed.
