Dreamcatcher Hostel is a beautifully renovated heritage building in a fantastic central location just off main street in the outdoor paradise of Golden - the only hostel in the downtown!We have 30 beds in private, family and dorm rooms. All linens and towels are included - the beds are comfortable and warm with feather duvets and proper mattresses. Our private and family rooms have en-suite bathrooms and the two dorm rooms share a shower room.Our main floor is a fantastic open space with large kitchen and dining area; cosy sofas round a welcoming rock fireplace; games area; library corner; guest computer and more! Free wifi is available throughout.The perfect accommodation for your winter holiday - the hostel is right by the road up to the resort. Our updated drying boot room is popular with skiers & boarders and we have secure racks inside for skis, boards, bikes kayaks etc. Canada's highest concentration of world-class ski resorts can be day-tripped from Golden. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is only 15 min. from downtown, and 4 other resorts are within a 2 hour drive: Lake Louise, Sunshine, Revelstoke and Panorama.For those arriving by car we have a large free car park alongside; for those arriving by greyhound, we have a free collection service.We are not a 'party hostel', more a relaxing base for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts.Golden is a small town with a laid back charm and in a great location, with three mountain ranges, rivers, lakes and creeks, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, rafting, kayaking and countless other activities.Welcome to Golden - Come live the dream!
