The IGUANA HOSTEL is newly refurbished and decorated outside and inside, with spacious terraces where you can enjoy your breakfast or just relax.

The IGUANA HOSTEL can only host 30 people maximum, so we can always take good care of you. Inviting communal spaces also make it easier to make friends and create a family atmosphere. Indeed, chilled out and family atmosphere is what characterises the Iguana and this is thanks to our dedicated, multilingual staff.

Take advantage of free Internet and Wi-Fi, play ping-pong and foosball in your free time, become a champion eventually, then relax in a hammock in our garden, make friends by bonfire at night or enjoy San Cristobal's night life with your new friends and our staff. We have all kind of tours on offer: both conventional and alternative. Moreover, we are always happy to provide advice on how to optimise your stay in San Cristobal, as well as travel in Mexico and neighbouring countries. Many travellers say they feel at home here and stay with us for weeks! And if your bus is leaving at night you can still use hostel's facilities and store your luggage for free!
