Pousada Anna Bella, 萨尔瓦多, 巴西

Pelourinho has historically been the cultural and entertainment center of old Salvador and so it is today. The area is full of colonial architecture, colonial churches, museums, restaurants, bars, vibrant night life, street entertainment, and artisanal shops. This proves to be the most interesting part of the city and is the reason Alessandro and Edna Lima decided to open their pousada there.

Alessandro and Edna are happy to welcome guests from all over the world. Guests are welcomed to lounge in the common room, check their email using the WiFi internet, or sample Bahian cooking in the on site restaurant.

From the airport or bus station taxis are available. If by bus from the airport, take the Praça de Se bus to the end of the line. If by bus from the bus station, cross the expressway by the elevated foot bridge, bear right to the front of Iguatemi Shopping Center and take a smaller bus labeled Praça de Se to the end of the line.

From the Praça de Se bus stop take a right on to Rua da Chile walk 3 blocks to Praça de Se. Cross Praça de Se toward the large church (cathedral) at the far end. Walk in front of the church entering into a large square (Terreiro de Jesus)bear right and walk in to the smaller adjoining square

with the cross in it (Praça Cruz de Sao Francisco). At the far end of this smaller square are the Sao Francisco churches take a left there and then a immediate right on the next street. The pousada is 1 and 1/2 blocks down the street on the left.
