Hotel 1000 Miglia, just opened from 14th October 2002, is located in Monteroni d'Arbia, 10 km south of Siena, 15 km from Montalcino, 20/30 min. from other historical towns such as: San Gimignano, Pienza e Montepulciano.

Monteroni d'Arbia, originally an agricultural centre, still holds medieval ruins, like the thirteenth-century Mill, the 'Grancia' of Cuna, old fortified farm which belonged to the Santa Maria della Scala hospital in Siena and the small village of Lucignano d'Arbia situated along the Via Cassia, where pilgrims walking to Rome used to rest.

Hotel 1000 Miglia is located on the side of the 'Via Francigena', where each year the well known Mille Miglia takes place (competition or parade of cars of the era) from which the name of our hotel comes.
