rondenet The owner is a very nice personne, very helpful and very friendly. I would recommand highly this place.
Annoymous We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed our first night in Dubrovnik. Natascha and her mum were very hospital and welcoming, explaining places to see / go to in Dubrovnik. Greatlt situated for the bus and ferry's if you want to island hop. Only downside was there was no air conditioning in the room, otherwise perfect and great value.
otoole.dev Great position, friendly helpful owner, good to have coffee making facilities, we enjoyed staying there.
Eva S Villa Divine has truly been the highlight of my vacation to Croatia. The staff is really helpful and very welcoming. The hostel is located a bit outside of the city centre of Dubrovnik which I found very relaxing and positive since the centre gets quite busy and crowded with all the cruiseship visitors. The centre is still easily accessible by bus (10 min ride). Villa Divine has a beautiful view on the harbour and is located in a very quiet and pretty residential area with close access to beaches. It has a great terrasse and a chill out space on the lower floor. The breakfast is amazing - with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cornflakes... Rooms are nicely decorated and absolutely clean. As I said - I would recommend it to anybody who looks for a quiet, relaxing place in a welcoming athmosphere. Thanks again to Renata, Ivan and Annie. Looking forward to come again next year! ;)
clare-sutt I just stayed here with two friends for six nights. We were all absolutely one hundred percent satisfied with our stay. The owners welcomed us into their family and instantly made us feel very welcome. they were exceptionally friendly and was all in all a very relaxed environment. The location is perfect situated just outside the walls of the old town, the room was very clean, and there was a beautiful outside eating and relaxing area. I would definitely strongly recommend Family Stanos to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in Dubrovnik. Our stay was simply perfect!
usul Marija and his son Toni were very friendly and hospitable. Location is 10 minute by foot from Old Town. The minus is that internet is not available. But the view from balcony is really picturesque! In summary it's a good location for staying in Dubrovnik.
allemann.c We had a great time at Goran's place in Dubrovnik. The room is clean, nicely decorated and good located. Goran is so easygoing and very helpful.
mplaidler A fantastic stay with a beautiful Croatian family. The accomodation is basic but practical i.e. big bed, fridge, cooker, sink and shower. The family embraced me as one of their own and felt apart of the Dubrovnik community rather than staying in a bland lifeless hotel. Bozo the head of the family fought for Croatia during the Serbian invasian in 1991. He will give you a tour and a candid analysis of what happend during those times and I would recommend anyone taking him up on his offer. A very intersting and funny man. The house is close to shops, the beach and good hotels with good facilities, i.e. pools and sunloungers! The bus to the old town is regular and the bus stop is just around the corner. 10 mins by bus to old town. For what I paid and the experience I got it was an unforgetable stay at Apartment Mateo. When left (after only three days) I felt a genuine afinity and warmth to the four family members and thanked them for such a marvellous stay. If you want luxury and a nice room service menu then this isn't for you. If you want a cheap, comfortable and genuine Dubrovnik dwelling with a very warm family then snap this up. It enhanced my stay exponentially.
lillywr House Tereza is in the most perfect of locations, a 30 second walk down the steps to the main "placa stradan" in the old town and on the main restaurant row "prijeko". One tiny drawback is that on some occasions loud noises from nearby bars can spill in through the windows on a hot night, along with drunken ramblers in the small hours of the morning, but this did not trouble us. The owner was lovely and helpful and advised us of a few local places to eat and drink. The room itself was above and beyond what we expected with a lovely ensuite shower room, along with a comfortable lounging area (we hired the double room), with lots of natural light from the cuby hole windows. I would highly recommend staying in the old town (anywhere within the walls will suffice) as if you don't you will honestly regret it when you get there.
