claire.s Had a great stay at Luka's Lodge. Luka was extremely hospitable and welcoming, very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He cooked us a lovely BBQ and we enjoyed some of his home-made olive oil and wine. We highly recommend you stay with Luka if you visit Hvar. Claire & Lewie (NZ)

mike.halle We were relocated at the last minute to avoid the possibility of a room-change. The apartment we were given was superb in every respect and the owners could not have been more helpful. The only drawback was the location - quite a walk into town meant that we had to plan ahead and be sure to take everything with us. Would have been very happy to stay a week in this apartment instead of the two days we booked. Hvar is a wonderful relaxing town to be in.
stef1630 Excellent accommodation with really friendly hosts. Only 5 minutes walk from centre. Would definitely recommend.

mosvice This may be called a "party hostel". Highly recommended for young people looking forward to party hard in Hvar. For those who are just looking for some peaceful days in the island, this might not be the appropriate hostel though it's good location, 10 minutes-walk from the center, which guarantees noiseless nights. You also have a great beach just 10-15 minutes walking from the hostel. Just ask for it. The kitchen and the common spaces close down at 23:00, which can be an inconvenient for those looking to have a late dinner. Catching wi-fi signal can be a pain in the neck in the whole building but downstairs. Dink is a cool guy, though other staff members may not result as friendly as he is.
abetterspa It was very clean and tidy. We shared a kitchen with one other room, but had it pretty much to ourselves anyway. It is an easy 7min walk down hill to the main square and port. We had a nice balcony with some great views. It is very close by to a supermarket and bakery. The owner was so helpful, friendly and considerate. She met us at the station on arrival and dropped our bags off to us when we were due to depart. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensured we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Hvar.
Theobarbie We had an excellent stay at House Haracic. The family who run the business were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We rented a boat for a day for a very good price from Igor, who was very helpful and a nice bloke too. He recommended a restaurant on an island off Hvar which we went to and it was excellent. They offered to cook for us many times as well, again for a very decent price, particularly considering how expensive Hvar is. The apartment itself was perfectly fine. Everything we needed was there, and it was very clean. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Hvar as it is not only value for money but the family running it are charming and helpful. Highly recommended
c.cambrook The hosts were very warm and friendly, the room was clean and well lit, the only downside was the noise from the road which you could hear if the you left the double doors open at night. A lovely stay and recommended.
