Hanne R We were three people, one adult and two boys (16 and 13 years old). We liked Villa Skansi in many aspects, but unfortunately we got the only room without a balcony, and the only room (I think) without aircondition. It was extremely hot and the room was not very pleasant. I believe all the other rooms were a lot better. I think Villa Skansi must be a great place for young people who stay 2-3 nights. My impression is that young people enjoyed their stay at Villa Skansi, and liked the possibility to socialize on the pleaseant terrace together with other visitors. I also must make a comment upon the kitchen. It was dark and dirty. It was definately not a place that motivated me to cook! Julia and her husband were both helpful an pleasant. And I am sure most visitors have great memories from their stay at Villa Skansi.
sjmillar Spent a week at Villa Zorana in September 2009. Location was excellent - only 10 minutes walk from centre of Hvar Town and a well-stocked supermarket very close by. Also a great restaurant 5 mins walk - Lungo Mare and lovely beach at Mustaco only 15/20 mins walk away. Apartment had everything we needed - separate kitchen, great balcony for watching sunsets and a good sized bedroom. Host was very friendly and helpful and frequently asked if we needed anything. Hvar Town is a fantastic place to spend a holiday - very easy to get taxi boats to nearby islands - Carpe Diem at Stipanska as well as lots to see and do in Hvar Town and a wide choice of restaurants/bars. I would highly recommend this accommodation and overall it seemed like excellent value for money given its location, size and facilities.
angela.bul Great value for a ritzy island experience. We were put up in the annex house (not the main house), so appreciated a wee bit more privacy than if we were in the main house. Next time I'd consider getting a room with a private bathroom, but the house-cleaning was daily (not the room-cleaning), so it really was quite manageable, even with a shared bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was a bonus since Hvar can be so expensive and a balcony had tables for reading, dining, conversing and/or communal gathering.

c2serban Beaautiful place to chose in Hvar. On the hills, near the harbour, between pine trees. Modern apartment with all the necessary conditions and a wide terrace for a great sea view. A very warm , wellcoming & helpful host.
Theobarbie We had an excellent stay at House Haracic. The family who run the business were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We rented a boat for a day for a very good price from Igor, who was very helpful and a nice bloke too. He recommended a restaurant on an island off Hvar which we went to and it was excellent. They offered to cook for us many times as well, again for a very decent price, particularly considering how expensive Hvar is. The apartment itself was perfectly fine. Everything we needed was there, and it was very clean. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Hvar as it is not only value for money but the family running it are charming and helpful. Highly recommended
transcende It's a difficult place to find, but nice and friendly staff. The place could use an update, and it wasn't the best value for money; but the location and parking opportunities made up for that somewhat.
jasmien_pa Great place, clean room, nice badroom, very nice terras! Lots of stairs to the old city (5 min walk) but worth it!
