x The average starting price for a place to stay in Zagreb is £20 per night.
christian.muell The owners are very nice and helpful. But the situation in the hostel is nor very good. The cleanliness is more than bad. The facilities are olso very bad. The location is ok, you need only 6 station than you are on the main place of Zagreb.
pOrkCh0p Great stay. Greeted by friendly and informative man at the desk - bit hard to find him though. Very clean and signs up all over the bathrooms about keeping the bathrooms that way. 3 computers for free internet which was great but always full. Free wireless as well. Kitchen with fridge to use but crowded if more than 2 people inside. Room size was more than adequate. About a 10 minute walk to the tram stop. Would stay there again.

bombert I have to say that I enjoyed be stay here for several reasons - very friendly and helpful owner and staff who are really switched on to travelers needs, nice atmosphere and well laid out open common areas and comfortable, air-conditioned (a godsend) rooms. Not so keen on unisex shower/bathroom area, felt a little tight and walls a bit thin at times, but overall this is a good place to stay
martin.deb this is really a place to be for young people who want to have fun. I didn't have the impression though that "quietness" and " respect for other guests who want to get some sleep at night" was as big a deal as home-rules pretend ... but it might well be that the real problem is simply my age ( 53 ) ! Had a great time nevertheless ! I will surely recommend Hobo Bear Hotel to anyone under 30 who whishes to visit Zagreb . Martin Debouck - Belgium
khagwell We are two seniors who chose Palmers for the last night of our stay. We had "trained" into Zagreb, arriving late afternoon, so the location near train station was very desirable. It's a newer hostel, all was in good repair except for some mildew on the shower ceiling. Also very near the huge underground shopping mall beneath the park in front of station. We had reserved a private/ensuite room (4 bunks). The next morning it was easy to walk one block for bakery goodies to go with instant coffee at the hostel. They called a cab for us (definitely knew the lowest price cab company) and we were off to the airport. The whole booking and overnight stay went smoothly. Nothing to improve.
