NKammerer The best hostel I have ever stayed in, by far. I paid for a 12-bed suite but the suite was divided into smaller rooms, so there were only 3 beds in my room. The staff is incredibly friendly, and single travelers are welcomed into the group immediately. I'm not a huge partier, and it's not necessary to be one to enjoy the Madhouse. It's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep, but there is an event on every single night, and all are encouraged to participate. The kitchen is fantastic - incredibly well equipped, and the "family dinners" were a highlight of my stay. Centrally located and easily accessible by tram or metro. The only downside is that the kitchen opens at 9am. So if you want an early start, you'll have to plan on breakfast elsewhere.
naganoogie I had an ensuite doubleroom for a week. And it's been one of the nicest hostel I've been in terms of cost and facilities. Besides the usual amenities, the doubleroom, which is clean and modern also includes a barfridge, a little kitchenette (though without any cooking utensils nor cutleries) and a small balcony. Staffs were friendly and helpful, with good knowledge about the wheres and whats of Pragie. Public transports (both tram and metro) were easily within reach from the hostel, and close to both Old and New Towns of Prague.
