Wenn Sie nach Amsterdam reisen, Lucky Lake bietet Ihnen eine tolle Kombination an gute Unterkunft und schöne, ruhige Umgebung. Luky Lake befindet sich auf dem südlichen Stadtrand von Amsterdam, neben einem schönem See mit sauberem, klarem Wasser. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort, wo können Sie schwimmen, Kayak oder Kanu fahren, windsurfen, angeln oder ein Bott mieten. In der Mitte gibt es viele kleine Inseln, die Sie besuchen können. Auf jedem Fall können Sie ihr aber nur erholen, auf dem Strand sonnenbaden oder ins ein nettes, günstiges Restaurant gehen.
Wir haben 3 verschiedene Zimmer. 28 getrennter Caravanen, 9 cabins und 12 dormbeds. Es sind solche Caravanen, die Leute in Europa mit seinem Auto verbinden und dann reisen. Das alles macht zusammen ein tolles Hostel!
Um zu dem Stadtzenter zu kommen, nehmen Sie unser Lucky Shuttle (7 Minuten). Diese bringt Sie zu der Metrostation, Amsterdam Holendrecht. Von der können Sie manche Sehenswürdigkeiten im Zenter Central Station, Waterlooplein, Red Light District - innerhalb 17 Minuten erreichen.
Informationen für Familien und Gruppen:
Gruppen: Lucky Lake akzeptiert keine Gruppen mit mehr als 6 Personen.
Familien: Minimum Alter aller unseren Gäste ist 17.
MIT ÖFFENTLICHEM VERKEHR:
Nehmen Sie U-Bahn Nummer 50 oder 54, Richtung Gein.
-Wenn Sie mit dem Bus oder Zug kommen, steigen Sie an der Central Station oder an Amstel ein.
-Wenn Sie mit dem Flugzeug fliegen, fahren Sie zuerst mit dem Zug (die Haltestelle gibt es gerade unter dem Flughafen) nach Amsterdam Duivendrecht, und dort steigen Sie in die U-Bahn 50 oder 54 um.
Steigen Sie an der Haltestelle Amsterdam Holendrecht aus und benutzen Sie der Ausgang Süd ´zuid´. Gehen Sie die Treppen unter und biegen Sie nach rechts. Sie sehen Bushaltestellen, grüne Telefonzelle.
Wir fahren jede stunde mit einem shuttle bus. Ein fahrt mit unserem shuttle bus kostet 1,- pro person. Die Uhrzeite und mehr information

MIT DEM AUTO:
* Finden Sie Autobahn A2, Richtung Utrecht, benutzen Sie den dritten Exit: Abcoude. Am Ende des Exites fahren sie Richtung ´Vinkeveense Plassen´. Jetzt sollen Sie auf der Straße parallel mit dem Autobahn fahren. Auf der dritten möglichen Nebenweg biegen Sie nach rechts ab (im Moment, wenn Sie kleine Häuschen auf ihrer rechten Seite haben). Sie können auf dem Parkplatz auf der linken Seite parken. Lucky Lake ist geradeaus vor Ihnen.

this hostel is about 15 km from centre of Amsterdam but this was not a problem as they have an hourly shuttle which takes you to local station and then it is about 15 min on metro to central station and about 30 min to
airport. staff are very friendly and have good knowledge of many languages and on how to find a large number of interesting places to visit, site and facilities are very clean and well laid out and very good value for the money, they have on-site computers and wire less connection if you have your own laptop. also they have a very well equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea if you wish overall I would strongly recommend and would use again. so enjoy with regards Peter Hallett

Please note that Lucky Lake does not accept groups of more than 6 people, and will refuse groups of more than 6 at check-in.
Children under the age of 17 years old are not allowed at Lucky Lake. If you do not respect our policy we are very sorry but we won't be able to accomodate you.
At Lucky Lake hostel you can pay cash and by creditcard. Please note that we have a 4% creditcard surcharge if you choose to pay by card.

This is an important message for people that are visiting Lucky Lake for the 2nd time: Bus 126 does not stop at Lucky Lake anymore. The only option is to take our shuttle. You don't need to call us anymore as we we will pick you up from Holendrecht at scheduled times (see schedule below).
1. FROM AMSTERDAM CENTRAAL STATION BY METRO:
Take metro number 54, direction Gein. Get out of the metro at Amsterdam Holendrecht station**. Our shuttle will pick you up, see schedule
2. FROM AMSTERDAM CENTRAAL STATION BY TRAIN (Eurorailers):
Take the train, direction Gouda or Utrecht. Be aware that not all the trains stop at Holendrecht! Make sure you take the right one as this can be tricky. Get out of the train at Amsterdam Holendrecht station**. Our shuttle will pick you up, see schedule
3:.FROM UTRECHT CENTRAL STATION BY TRAIN (Eurorailers):
Take the SPRINTER to Breukelen. Get out of the train at Breukelen. From Breukelen take the STOPTREIN(make very sure you take the STOPTREIN, as this can be tricky!), direction Amsterdam Central station. Get out of the train at Amsterdam Holendrecht station**. Our shuttle will pick you up, see schedule
4. FROM SCHIPHOL AIRPORT BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Under Schiphol-airport there is a big train-station. Take any train that stops at Amsterdam-Duivendrecht. At Duivendrecht, take metro number 50 or 54, direction Gein. Get out of the metro at Amsterdam Holendrecht station**. Our shuttle will pick you up, see schedule
**AT STATION HOLENDRECHT
Important notice:
Due to work at Amsterdam Holendrecht station we have a new pick up point for our shuttle bus.
Take the south (ZUID) exit and walk down the stairs, turn right and right again. Keep the fence on your left hand side and walk down to the main road. The shuttle will pick you up under the tunnel at the normal scheduled time. If you have any problems finding the pick up point please don't hesitate to call the shuttle on 0031 630043016 or reception 0031 294 282814.
The shuttle is 1 per person per trip.
From Amsterdam Centraal station it takes 17 minutes to get to Amsterdam Holendrecht station. The shuttle will depart from Holendrecht to Lucky lake on the following times:

12:15 / 13:15 / 14:15
15:15 / 16:15 / 17:15

Please note: To take the last shuttle at 1am and 1.30am you will need to take a TRAIN from Amsterdam Centraal station from the TRAINPLATFORM. Make sure you take the right train that stops in Amsterdam Holendrecht station as this can tricky!! Lucky Lake hostel cannot be held responsible if you take the wrong train and end up in Utrecht :-)
Ask for a train scedule at reception.
Make sure you are there 5 min before the sceduled time. Depending on traffic the driver maybe a few minutes late.
By Car coming from the South:
Get on the A2 highway, direction Amsterdam. Take exit number 3, direction Abcoude. At the end of the exit, turn left. Follow direction 'Vinkeveense Plassen' (don't go back on the highway!) You are now driving on a road that is parallel to the Highway. At the first junction on this road, go straight, direction 'Vinkeveense Plassen'. You should now see small houses on your right side. At the next junction (immediately after these small houses), go right.
You can park on the big parking-area on your left. Lucky Lake is in front of you.
By Car coming from the North/East/West/Center of Amsterdam:
Get on the A2 highway, direction Utrecht. Take exit number 3, direction Abcoude / Vinkeveense Plassen. At the end of the exit, go right. Stay on this lane, following direction 'Vinkeveense Plassen'.
