KS House is a five floors guesthouse, no elevator! and located only 5 minutes walk from famous Khao San Road! It has clean functional rooms at reasonable prices, and it's got the services you need for a convenient stay. Laundry is 40 Baht a kilo (with prices for individual items, too).
KS House now has FREE WI-FI Internet connection with your own laptop at the room or lobby or restaurant. Free safety deposit boxes that have a dual key system for added security.
We also have a number of computers in our lobby that you can use to surf the Net for a small fee & available 24hrs.
The ATM is near our guesthouse just 5 shops beside us. and also money exchange at the corner of intersection.

This Guesthouse sounds good but is big shit!
We came as 2 couples and booked 2 double-bed rooms.
We booked here and when we arrived they had no rooms and we are asked to go.
We asked for get back money and then the very unfriendly woman on reception wanted to give us different dorm-room for same price.We are really relaxed and tolerant but this dorm-room was crazy dirty and really not suitable for a woman with just a little bit of hygienic interest, so we ask again for getting back prepaid money and then the woman turned into a monster.
So, dont book here, its not even cheap cheaper, shit, its dirty and awful in the rooms!

The rooms are clean but fairly basic. The staff were really helpful with things like organising airport transport. Locationwise K.S.house is terrific as it is within easy walking distance to the river where you can catch the express boats to places like the grand palace and Wat Po and really close to all the excitement of Khao San road. I'd stay there again.
No frills, but a comfortable place to stay. The advertised Rooftop Restaurant did not seem to be operating and the advertised wi-fi worked out in the hallway and lobby but not in the room. The location is close to a pier for the express boat, which is the best way to get around Bangkok, but there are few transportation options after dark when the boat stops running. No skytrain or subway access. The neighborhood offers all services and there are some great food stalls nearby. Helpful staff.

This is the best cheap accommodation around. Very happy with our stay. Free wifi, luggage hold, air conditioned rooms and very helpful staff. If I only have one minor comment to make that isn't a pro, that is that the rooms are quite small. But livable. And that's all you need!

the lady that worked there was extremely freindly and very helpful. the room was nice and the aircon was lovely and cold
