Good place to start bangkok, but a bit to far from Kao San road (can't walk from there). The staff is friendly and give some good tips. the only negative point is the Fan in the bedrom. It didn't blow on the top bed ( Where I was...), so I spend a very hot night.

Relax in the restaurant, the bar, or one of the many chill out places provided. Its great for everybody, individual travelers can easily meet new friends in the bar or at our lobby area. Families can also enjoy staying here (we recommend the superior room).

We are located in the "Real Bangkok" not in "Khao San Road" Close to the Skytrain (10 min walk), MRT (underground train, 5min taxi), River buses (5 min walk) and the airport shuttle bus(2 min walk) Due to the very low taxi prices, we would recommend you to come by taxi.

The atmosphere at New Road Guest House is amazing come and try it

The guest was upgraded by the property at no cost to the guest, as there had been a mixup by the property and the room booked by the guest was already full.

breakfast poor and expensive.
in the rooms with fan the heather was awful.
Rooms with private bathroom, the bathroom is so small.
The elevator is not on the background floor and you have to carry your baggage since the first floor.
dont have hardly information in english, all in dutch??
Depend off the place you have booked they give your tickets for free drinks and internet. We booked from travellerspoint and dont have free drinks nor internet.
The hall is the only place with AC and has only place for 4 people.
15 minutes walking from the BTS Sky Train and 5 minutes form the Chao praya Boat. But so far from places for eat and drink.
Dont recommend this place to anyone.
