ArtUnio Galeria Hostel is a brand new hostel in Szentendre, located 36 minutes from downtown Budapest. If you are looking for a special, intimate, clean, cool place, with friendly staff and you like stylishly equipped rooms around you, ArtUnioGaleria Hostel is just for you.

If you like fresh air, town, but not the noisy dusty one, come and stay with us. Our Hostel is inexpensive but well equipped and offers pleasant accommodation. If you wish to see Budapest and the Danube band as well, this Hostel is just for you. The city of Szentendre is the pearl of the Danube band. With its intimate little streets, lots of museums, Greek Orthodox Churches, Jewish cemeteries, lots of art galleries, shops and café's, the river bank is giving you unique, Mediterranean atmosphere. It is also a center of fine arts & arts and crafts.

It is not by coincidence that we chose the name "ArtUnio Galeria" for our Hostel. In the typical trading house, where we renovated our homey atmosphere rooms just for you, there is an active art galleria as well. The House is divided into two parts. From the street you see the artistic works of the newly graduated Hungarian artists: photos, paintings, textile, statuette, etc. We offer you a beautiful inside court with fox grape (Virginia creeper, woodbine), Indian menthe, Leander and lots of more special plants. You will find a colorful hammock as well so you will be able to relax your tired legs from walking all day long the day before in Budapest.

We are fully equipped. We offer you air conditioned dormitory room with bunk beds, for 7 people. There are double, triple rooms for your disposal. Shared bathroom, with massage shower and bath. Linen, reading light, locker, internet access in lobby, wifi, loundry, towels.

In the American kitchen you can cook while having fun with others, eating your specialties around the big table.

In the mediterran garden there is a drinking fountain, also from the time when the house was built, in early 20th Century. So it will be very nice having a cup of coffee or tea, fresh water and some cookies offered to you while resting outside.

In the lobby you can watch movies, listen to music, read books from our library, check your mail, enjoy the exhibition. There is a cellar as well, so there is enough room for fun.

If you wish, we can organize your art exhibition, we only kindly ask you to let us know about your plans a few weeks before your arrival.

You can join our art school or our Yoga courses as well.

Our helpful staff will be more than happy to organize your day; we will recommend you places what will make your stay special. Entertainment, swimming pool, Danube by night, lots of fun!
