The hostel has recently been renovated ensuring that your stay is pleasant and enjoyable. The bedrooms (only for private ensuites) are air conditioned and ensuite with a power shower, private facilities, fridge to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
For those with your own laptop, take advantage of our WI-FI network.
The Mamma Mia is set in a beautiful quiet area close to shops and many restaurants and among the Vittorio Emanuele and Manzoni metro stations.
Short walking distances for many famous sites like Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and it local public market, San Giovanni in Laterano and the Colosseum.

- Travellers that book with Debit card MUST call before midday ON THE ARRIVAL DAY; the reservation will be accepted only if arrival is before 6pm! If you cannot meet these conditions you may risk losing your bed.

Definitely not worth the amount that I'm paying for. The room was small and the double-decker beds were so close to each other that there's hardly space to walk (maybe cause we had a 10 mix bed) Floor was clean but its only the walkway but not under the bed. My friend got bitten by bed bug. The plus point is the spacious toilet and the well-equipped kitchen. Wasnt allow to cook but ask and it shouldnt be a problem. The lift was stupid. can only take 2-3 slim people. or maybe 2 luggage. Worried that it might just crash anytime. Have to ask the innkeeper to activate the lift before u can use. WIreless was sucky. there's only a limited number of users each time. the wireless was shared with another room. thats a total of 14 users. but each time we think only can log in 3-4 users. so everytime we wana use, i have to ask my friend to log out wifi before i can use it. Will find some other gd places if i were u.

Broken toilet seat in shared bathroom.
Breakfast room limited to 2 people at a time - thought the lady preparing breakfast was friendly and helpful.
Caretaker spoke reasonable Spanish, Portuguese and a little English. (Presumably Italian also?)
The room was basic clean and adequate. Double glazed windows were great, however, having window panes on the bedroom doors didn't help privacy, and meant light came in all night.
The room near the lift well was fairly noisy - as all lift, door and conversation noises were apparent.
In all, good value for money for an overnight stay in Rome.

It is a fairly small hotel and the walls are quite thin so you can hear most of what goes on in the other rooms! Our room overlooked the main road which was very noisy at night and was right next to reception so overall noise level was high.
However the service was great, our host was very congenial and helpful, and the breakfast, made in the kitchen while you sit at the table, was value for money.
