Very good value for money. Room was clean with a variety of bunked layout. Extra bedding was available in the cupboards in room. Pillows are very soft (my daughter brought her own just in case) but beds were comfortable. Have read reviews about the 50p showers. You get the first shower "on the house" and to be honest 7.5 minutes is more than enough to get all of you clean! It's not a power shower, but what do you expect at these rates? Don't forget to bring your own towels.

Welcome to Le Papillon Hostel, a newly opened backpackers hostel.

We are ideally situated within walking distance of trains, coaches, beaches, harbour and the town centre.

We have a large south facing garden with BBQ area & large car park.

There are Single and mixed sex dormitories and private rooms. We also have Self catering facilities & a breakfast room. We have a TV lounge & Free wireless Internet access.

Very good value for money. Room was clean with a variety of bunked layout. Extra bedding was available in the cupboards in room. You get the first shower "on the house" and to be honest 7.5 minutes is more than enough to get all of you clean! It's not a power shower, but what do you expect at these rates? Don't forget to bring your own towels. Our cab driver made the mistake of dropping us off at another backpacker hostel in Abbey Road. It's right on a noisy bus route and I'm glad that we booked Le Papillon instead, which is on a quiet road no more than a 10 minute walk from the sea front and town centre. I would recommend this hostel.
