The people make El Shaddai a lovely place to stay. They are extremely welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. They also were very helpful and knoweldgable about the town and the falls and how to get there, what to do. They also offered discount tours - do the jet boat if you can afford it and sit at the front, you will get very wet! They do speak excellent English.

Good family atmosphere.Clean, safe, nice and quiet neighborhood.Located in the downtown district and close to all tourist attractions, only 1 block from the bus stop to the Iguassu Falls.
Only a few blocks from, bank, supermarket, shopping, restaurants laundry and money exchange
Good, big Brazilian buffet breakfast,2 kind of cakes, 3 kind of bread, juices, ham, cheese, eggs, sausage, tee, coffee, milk, chocolate, fruits like: water melon, papaya and banana.

The people make El Shaddai a lovely place to stay. They are extremely welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. The hostel is very cute in an old house and was extremely clean, and conveniently located near the bus station and lots of places to eat. Breakfast was a decent selection of the traditional Brazillian foods.
Only negative, the hot water wasn't very warm but you just need to play with the taps a bit, don't turn them on too hard!
We felt extremely comfortable and at home at El Shaddai, would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Foz do Iguacu.
