RSSHappy House is definitely a cool hostel. It is really clean, has great facilities with a TV room, bar with pool table, free internet, funky furniture, excellent security BUT ...
we found they charged for every little thing. Even having friends in the public areas after a certain time got charged. We were late in arriving due to our plane being delayed and we got charged for that. They didn't even have a local area map we could have, rather they wanted us to buy a map of the whole city.
Also, to get to the girls bathroom you had to walk through the kitchen area which felt a bit odd.
It is a cool hostel and a good place to stay, but I think they have a few things to learn to make it a really excellent hostel.
PS if you do stay there, have the pizza at the restaurant on the corner directly under it. Best pizza we had in our entire time in South America.
