Bilit Rainforest Lodge, Sandakan, Malaysia

Bilit Rainforest Lodge is situated on the

river bank of Kinabatangan River, 126KM from Sandakan Town. The lodge is build appropriately from local hard-wood material and designed to blend into nature giving a unique local nature ambience. Besides the lodge building, our place also served a Flora & Fauna attraction along the Kinabatangan River & Forest Reserve Surrounding.

The Kinabatangan River is the longest river in Sabah. About 560KM, it's floodplain, one of the last remaining wetlands in Southeast Asia and is a mosaic of various habitat types- Riverine Forest, Seasonally Flooded Forest, Swamp Forest, and Dry Dipterocarp Forest & Mangrove. Home to endmic species, a world record of 10 species of primates are found in the region, include the Orang Utan, Gibbon, Two (2) species of Macaques, Langurs, Proboscis Monkeys, Slow Loris & Western Tasier. In this region also, the visitor maybe have an opportunity to see the Pygmy Elephant, Crocodile & other wildlife during your stay at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.
