Small, cosy, friendly place to stay, perfect location for cycle tourists en route to or from Wanganui, either by main road or the historic River road (via Hiruharama/Jerusalem).

Hikers in summer are close to Pipiriki and the Bridge to Nowhere tours. Easy access to the Tongariro Alpine crossing and wonderful trout fishing in the rivers. Skiers and snowboarders in winter are 30 minutes to Turoa skifield, and 45 to Whakapapa, so you can choose either side depending on the weather.

We host a maximum of six guests, so your stay here is like being a guest in a family home. If you prefer to be alone, we won't bother you, the choice is yours.
