You are welcome to Mar del Plata Yanquetruz Hostel !!! This Hostel is meant to be a place where you can relax, have fun, meet new people, exchange experiences, and know part of Argentine culture and Mar del Plata, according to your preferences.

At Yanquetruz Hostel, we offer you a warm reception and the opportunity to meet people from all around the world; we believe in cultural exchange as a way to achieve your personal growth and that´s why we provide you the ideal places and moments in the hostel to do so. Our methodology is very simple, we have dinner all together and then we go out on Night Tours, where you will be accompanied by experienced and bilingual tour guides so that you get to know nightlife and have some drinks in bars and discoteques, feeling really safe.

We also bring you the necessary tourist information for you to know about the city and the places you are interested in, and we organize itineraries and city tours downtown and in the surroundings. Thus, you will know “Mardel” in an economic and independent way.

Moreover, we have an experience of 4 years of tourist advice, and due to our close location to the university and the micro center, we host lots of Argentinian and foreign students who come here to continue studying and training themselves.

Yanquetruz Hostel is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Mar del Plata, “La Perla Vieja”, a few blocks away from the micro center and the maritime boulevard. A cozy hostel built in a totally recycled and ancient house, made for people who wants to have fun, relax and know the “Happy City”.

How to get to the Hostel? From the Bus Station: you can get the autobus, lines 511, 512 or 512B (the cost is ar$ 1,40 or U$S0.45). The bus stop is on Sarmiento St. You have to get down on Rocha Square, located in Luro Avenue and 14 de Julio St., turn right and walk along 2 blocks on 14 de Julio St. until you arrive to 9 de Julio St. After that you just turn left and walk 50 mts. to find the Hostel.

Another quicker and more comfortable option is to get a taxi that you´ll find in the Bus Station. The cost is aproximately $8.

Yanquetruz is 1km away from the Rail Station. There you can take the buses 511, 512 or 512B; the bus stop is in front of the Rail Station and the cost is ar$. 1,40. You can also take a taxi for $5 or just walk along ten blocks.

The Airport “Astor Piazolla” is 15 Km. away; you can take the bus 542 (40 minutes) with the same cost (ar$1.40) or you may take a taxi and pay $25 aproximately.
