the location is great (supermarket very near + kitchen to use). also nice that breakfast is included. tidy and simple rooms.

This hostel is a good value option that is very centrally located in Lisbon. There is no staff on duty 24 hours, instead it is better to call them if you need something. They spoke very good English and were very accommodating to our needs, including luggage storage. The hostel itself is a three-story walk up without an elevator. At least three rooms share one tiny bathroom (literally as big as a closet with only one toilet and one shower). To avoid this problem, it would have been better to rent one of the rooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is a nice, fully stocked kitchen, though it should be noted that the "breakfast" consisted of white bread, butter and jelly. The location can't be beat--it is in the heart of the Baixa district with restaurants all around (the street below could get loud on the weekends). Recommended, but with ensuite bathrooms.
