Well, to begin with - it provided a bed, at least.
I seriously would recomend you to book another hotel if possible, even if it costs like 5 euro more per day or something like that.
But if you stay there, don't stay for longer than two nights.
Why?
Because of the following reasons:- You can really hear everything what is happening outside your room. The walls are just incredibly thin. We could hear every conversation that was taking place at the reception and we could hear when water was used in other hotelrooms, plus street noises.
- It's freaking cold inside the rooms (at least in winter), maybe because of a bad isolation...? Though there was a heater, but it didn't help much or at all.
- The breakfast isn't a real breakfast. It consists of crackers, croissants filled with choclate/jam (not tasty) and jam (everything in packages - only). Water is provided (only good thing here), though nobody really cares if one of the bottles is empty. If you're lucky the "service" will notice it somewhen. Juices are basically sugar and chemistry, oh, and there is a coffee machine. The coffee tastes awful and when you try to get hot water, a yellowish liquid with some small black substances will come out. The only possible thing to drink is hot milk.
- The room service...well, they came every day (we've never seen them though) and...did really nothing. The only thing they did was making the bed (not changing any blankets or anything). Even though it was clearly dirty, they didn't change the blanket, and the warmer blankets that were provided were covered in foreign hair. Once we accidently spilled some yoghurt on a blanket (first day) and they changed it (the first and last time) after we asked them to do so - fourth night.
They only got two big towels, no small ones, but they seem to change them one or the other day.
The floor or anything else wasn't cleaned even once (we stayed for five nights).- The location isn't too bad, though be careful with the metro. You have to walk one metro station (about 15 - 20 minutes) unless you want to pay more for taking a ride (because this part isn't belonging to Milano anymore, but to San Giovanni). Once you reach the metro, it's pretty fast to get to the city center.
We hope we didn't forget anything, but as one can see, it didn't make us really enjoy our stay in Milan. Good advice here: try another hotel.
Ah, and if you still happen to stay there - try out "Kebap Magdi" around the corner - pretty cheap and tasty kebap. One of the best things in Milano haha.Happy traveling and good luck!

Hotel Bristol is situated in a great location, just round the corner froom the Red Line 1 and accessible from Malpensa and Linate Airport (for Malpensa, you can get a shuttle bus to take you to the central station and then get the green line, connecting at Loreto to get the red line to Sesto Rondo).
The hotel room itself was very basic but clean (though I wouldn't like to stay there during any extremes of the weather).
The staff were friendly although someone in the reception insisted on playing loud music all evening and once in the morning, and was subsequently told off by a guest.
My only problem with my stay was the constant noise-from the music and from outside as my room faced a main room and I could here the conversations of people walking and talking right outside, not to mention the traffic and sirens etc.
All in all, I'd give the hotel a 7/10 purely for its value for money and good location, but my room was a 6 1/2 out of 10
The hostel offered a fair amount of services for what it costs, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was really kind and always willing to help regarding showing the way for the most iconic locations and providing information and maps. The only drawback would be the location, as it's far from the centre and subway or other transports are always needed, but fortunately there's a subway station within walking distance from the hostel. Make sure you buy the interurban tickets, though!
