I have stayed here a few times now and having nothing bad to say at all, it is very close to the centre but enough out of the way to be out of the noise.
I would definitely recommend as is cheap and comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The staff are really friendly and the room seemed clean. The bathroom was a shared bathroom but we never had to wait long to use it (there is a seperate toilet aswell).
It's right in the town centre and not far from the beach.
The breakfast was self service. It would have been nice to have had a fry up each morning though.
I would recommend this for people looking for a few days away in Newquay who just want to surf and go out in the evenings.
The parking was an issue as there is only room for 1 car on the driveway so you have to park on the road. It's mainly yellow lines and we got shouted at by a local for parking outside their house.
On the whole it is a nice place to stay and would recommend it to friends.
