About Charoendee Boutique Hostel ….
A two-storey house built with teak wood and decorated with Thai style. The house was built in early 19 century. Charoendee became a hotel in 1969 and it is one of the oldest hotel in Bangkok. As Khao san Road has developed over the years to become a very popular destination for “Backpackers”, Charoendee also had been changed to a hostel.

Charoendee is a boutique hostel at the heart of Khao san Road. A budget accommodation offers a clean, friendly and vibrant place to stay at a very reasonable price. We also prepare fresh breakfasts every morning. We offer all amenities such as wireless internet, common room, relaxed outdoor terrace and restaurant
Rooms ….
We've all kind of rooms to suite your needs. Single, double, twin and triple rooms which have air conditioning or ceiling fan and every room have big window. The bathrooms for guests are all extremely clean and all bed linen is provided free of charge.

***IMPORTANCE**
*Your arrival time mean a time that your arrive at the hostel but the check-in time is 13:00 therefore if you show up 7 in the moring you still have to wait unitll 13:00 BUT if the room ready before 13:00 we will glad to check you in ASAP.
* We will hold your room untill the arrival time that you given to us (plus 6 hr. more grace period). Your bed might be released if you show up later than your arrival that you inform us. I stayed in a single room, which was pretty small but nice.
It is simple and beautiful. Really clean.
The set back, which someone else had noted and they don't mention at all, is that it is right next to a very loud nightclub which goes until the sun comes up, or around 6am in the morning. Almost imposible to sleep through. So, unless you are one of the people who will be at the nightclub and can sleep all day....consider this before booking!
The staff were really good.
Loved it. I've been here for 3 nights after staying elsewhere in Khao San. Clean, very nice staff, good atmosphere. Like every where else on Khao San, it's loud at night if you leave the windows open (necessary when it's hot!). But amazing value for Wi-Fi, hot water showers, free toast and coffee in the morning and a chill communal area. I will stay here again and highly recommend it. The bathroom could be bigger (the showerhead is basically right over the toilet) and a sink outside the bathroom would be more convenient but that's my only real 'complaint'.
Also, their travel services are very well priced. It's cheaper for us to get a comfortable (AC and bathroom) bus to Chiang Mai than if we bought our tickets directly at the bus station and the hotel arranges our transport to the bus!

We reached late around 11pm. Room was ready. beyond my expectation, the place was very clean and most importantly the shared bathroom was extremely clean. The staffs were so friendly and helped a lot in providing the necessary info. We stayed in the non-aircon room. Pretty hot. My advice try to get the air-con one. Overall i am satisfied and the next visit to Khao San, this place is sure.

The guest house charoendee is a very nice place, the only negative point is, that they are situated near a very noisy bar , which makes almost not possible to sleep during the night.+Maybe it was just or room.
But i have requested for a room change which was possible 2 days later , but it maked not a lot of difference.
it is just the location it is in the middle of Kohasan road , which is a noisy street with bars and and night life.
Otherwise it is a very nice place , very clean ; and renovated, and friendly staff
It would be 100% perfect if it was situated in other location.
Depends of yourself what your are looking for , if you do not mind the noise , perfect please:
