The La Scoiattola Holiday House is located about 18 km far from Pisa airport.

It is a romantic cottage next to a manor house in the beautiful Tuscan landscape, surrounded by peaceful hills and wild nature.

It encloses a comfortable new apartment for 2-4 people

The house is very quite and colorful with clean, warm and cosy rooms on the ground floor. The building was lately renovated (works ended in November 2008).

Each room has its own bathroom and a parquet flooring.

WE DO NOT HAVE DORMS BUT ONLY COMFORTABLE PRIVATE ENSUITE ROOMS (FOR 2 PEOPLE)!!!

DESCRIPTION

This is an ideal place for those who love free and independent holidays: singles or couples, families and groups, they all find here a friendly environment.

The apartment for 2 people encloses 1 double room with a private bathroom + 1 dining room with a fully equipped kitchen.

NOTE: it is possible to add 1 twin room (2 beds) linked to the other bedroom and with ensuite private bathroom for an additional charge of only 30 euro per day, on request. You just need to email us as soon as you book in order to have at your disposal a comfortable apartment for 4 people (with 2 bedrooms, 1 dining room with kitchen); each bedroom has its own private bathroom, parquet flooring and an independent entrance!

The house is situated in the country, surrounded by luscious green fields, woods, meadows and hills.

This typically Tuscan landscape is situated a few miles from several towns of historical and architectural interest. During the summer luxuriant hedges of lavender and rosemary bushes perfume the air, squirrels run along the tree branches and at night the only sound to fill your ears is the chat of the nightingale song.

Situated not too far from Pisa-airport, where several airlines (RYANAIR, TRANSAVIA, EASYJET,GERMANWINGS,….) operate with low-cost daily flights, the accommodation offers homely comforts, the peacefulness and tranquillity of the country, and at the same time is situated a short drive from the most interesting Tuscan towns.

AMENITIES:

Rates include 1 set of bath towels and 1 set of bed linings per guest+ Free hot showers for 24 hours/day + free use of kitchen+ water, gas and electrical consumptions +all taxes.

Breakfast not included

French and English are spoken and when our daughter, who as a degree in Oriental languages, is at home also Chinese and German.

There is ample car parking.

The owners, retired teachers and experienced travellers, are a vast source of information for the surrounding areas and can point out routes for the guests to find out and enjoy both minor but very interesting unknown places.

We supply our guests with tourist guides, road maps and informative material on wine cellars, trips, outings, wine and gastronomic itineraries and cultural events.

A limited number of guests allows personal attention to services in complete privacy and the relations with our guests are always marked by their extreme cordiality and hospitality.

We have never disappointed the demands of who appreciates culture, country life, good cuisine and genuine products.

EXTRA-MANDATORY FEES must be made upon arrival and in Cash:

- Obligatory final cleaning: Euro 50,00.

The cleaning of the kitchen stoves and hob is not included in the rate and have to be returned in a clean condition, and the kitchenware has to be properly washed (if not, guests will be extra charged 20,00 Euros).

- 200 euro deposit is required for any damage and/or shortage (for a stay over 3 nights). This deposit will be given back to the guests at the end of their stay after checking the house.

- The apartment is cleaned every 7 days. Bed linens and towels are changed every 7 days. For stays over 1 week additional cleaning service is charged 30 euro.

In case we have rooms available, we also provide a 'Day-stay' option: we offer you the possibility of keeping your room until 7 p.m. by paying half of the regular room rate.

NO LOCKOUT !!! NO CURFEW!!!

At your arrival you will be given all the keys so that you can fully use the apartment and enjoy free holidays (no timetables)in full privacy. No lockout.

CANCELLATION POLICY

- Cancellation is accepted and is free of charge until 30 days before the arrival date; penalty for late cancellation or NO-SHOW and changes in your booking is charged 100% of total amount from your credit card (Changes include amendments in your date of arrival, number of nights or number of people in your reservation).

- We will not alter our policy due to transport strikes, delays due to weather, health problems, or any circumstances outside of your or our control.

- Reservations with data different from those mentioned in the beginning will not be accepted, unless confirmed by us in advance.

- 30% DISCOUNT if you book for 14 days

- 50% DISCOUNT if you book for 21days + 1 week free (for a total of 28days!)

Note: All promotions and offers must be agreed upon by email with us at least three days before your arrival. These will not be accepted, unless confirmed by us in advance. Therefore we kindly ask you to inform us by email as soon as possible mentioning your arrival time+ the number of guests +the number of nights of your stay.

CHECK-IN time: from 4.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.

CHECK-OUT time: until 11:00 a.m.

PAYMENT IN CASH ON ARRIVAL ONLY

Payment of the balance due must be made upon arrival and in Cash Only.

This Holiday House requires a 2 night minimum stay.
