To 30 minutes of the monumental Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá. Valladolid is a small and calm Mayan and colonial city of 70 mil inhabitants. It is located in the north centre of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is a good base to rest after visiting the Mayan zone and its authentic cultural expressions. In Valladolid and its environs are the deepest natural wells of the Peninsula.

An old colonial large house, is located in the Park La Candelaria, 3 blocks from the bus-station and to 2.5 blocks from the Central Park.
