B&B Alla Noca is located in one of the historical district of Bergamo, the village St. Thomas, the art center of the city.
We are right at the foot of the Upper Town, reachable by foot through the steps of striking Noca, climbing the Venetian walls, along the Port St. Augustine.
We are close to Carrara Academy Gallery, opposite the GAMeC, gallery of modern art and contemporary art. Along the way a number of shops and art galleries.
The center of the lower city with its cafes, the Teatro Donizetti and Via XX Settembre, can be reached by walking through the village Pignolo or along the walls of Viale Vittorio Emanuele, in about fifteen minutes.
Only 100 meters to the nearest public transport stop for all the cities and towns of the hinterland.
We also have ample free parking adjacent to the house.

A very nice small B&B in an old but refurbished house next to the Art Museum, conveniently located within walking distance (up a street lined with old town houses) of Bergamo's "città alta" and with a (locked) courtyard where you can park your car safely for free. The double room we booked was clean, cool (in late June) thanks to its very thick walls, and very quiet as the B&B opens onto a blind alley. It is not very easy to find at first because the address given is in the street nearby, but you just have to turn the corner into the alley and follow the "a/b/c/d" letters corresponding to different doors.
The young lady who greeted us was quite helpful and though she did not seem prepared to let us use the kitchen ourselves, she left some hot water for a hot drink before we went to bed.
Breakfast was very good, with tasty smoked ham in particular.
The only reservation is that there is apparently no air conditioning and the room might become hot once the summer heat had got through the thick walls.
