This hotel is lovely with a walled in garden, and the staff are wonderful. It is basic, clean and well suited to a traveler's needs. Bathroooms are small but modern. The pnly concern is that the Mariscal touristy neighborhood is rather unsafe at night due to the local nightclubs nearby, but the hotel has a locked front gate that is monitored by staff. The staff are very accomodating, helpful, and pleasant. Staff are multilingual and knowledegeable about the city and about Ecuador as a whole.

Situated in a beautiful and quiet area, Cayman Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Quito, close to the best cafes, restaurants, bars and nightlife! Opened in 1998 in an enchanting renewed building, which is protected as a part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

European owned and family operated, Cayman Hotel offers a friendly and peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful garden to relax after a long day's exploring.

All rooms are spacious, beds with orthopedic matresses, private bathrooms with hot-water showers. Single, double, and triple rooms are offered.

Breakfast is included free each morning, and upon request, homemade dinners for groups are available. Drinks and snacks are also available in the bar 24 hours.

The hotel is only 15 minutes away from the airport and bus station. Transfers to and from the airport airport are, of course, available upon request.

We speak anything you can! Languages spoken by staff and owners: Spanish, English, French, Polish, and Russian.

This hotel is lovely with a walled in garden, and the staff are wonderful. It is basic, clean and well suited to a traveler's needs. Bathroooms are small but modern. The pnly concern is that the Mariscal touristy neighborhood is rather unsafe at night due to the local nightclubs nearby, but the hotel has a locked front gate that is monitored by staff. The staff are very accomodating, helpful, and pleasant. Staff are multilingual and knowledegeable about the city and about Ecuador as a whole. Staff's recommendations about day trips, cultural exhibits, taxis, and restaurants were solid.
There is a shared computer in the common area with free internet access, and small eating and social areas. Continental breakfast is included during certain hours, and a limited reasonably priced snack menu was available at intervals. Many restaurants are nearby, and public transportation is also available. Most Quito locations are accessable by cab from Hotel Cayman for only one to a few dollars, and the hotel staff were quick to warn guests about the tricks of unscrupulous taxi drivers.
While in Quito, I also stayed with friends at another hotel, but then I returned
to Hotel Cayman.

The room was clean the staff at reception friendly and helpfull.Handy to all the night life .Great sercurity at hotel with 24 hr access.Great value for money .would reccommend
