This is a great budget hotel. The location was very close to the train and shopping. The staff were very helpful and the cherry on the top of this hotel was the rooftop pool and lounging area with a great view of the Nile and the hustle and bustle below. The only problem we encountered were the stairs leading up to the hotel. Not great if you are limited in mobility. I use a cane and managed, but it was difficult.

Das Hathor Hotel ist ein 1-Sterne-Hotel am Nil im Zentrum von Aswan und in der Naehe des Bazars Das Hotel strahlt eine sehr erholsame Atmosphaere im Herzen der Stadt aus, von wo aus man leicht alle Sehenswuerdigkeiten Aswans besichtigen kann. Wir haben 60 Zimmer, alle mit Nilblick und Klimaanlage. Wir bieten 3 Arten von Zimmer an: Einzel-, Doppel- und Dreierzimmer. Das Hotel verfuegt auch ueber einen Swimmingpool und eine Dachterrasse, 24 Std. geoeffnet. Falls ein Transport vom oder zum Hotel gewuenscht wird (Flughafen oder Bahnhof), bieten wir diesen Service gegen eine geringe Gebuehr an. Wir freuen uns, Ihnen unsere Dienste anbieten zu koennen!

This is a great budget hotel. The location was very close to the train and shopping. But then again Egypt is all about steps isn't it!
