3 star hotel situated on the outskirts of Mestre, near Venice, a stone's throw away from the famous Villa Foscari "La Malcontenta" by Andrea Palladio on the Brenta River.

The Gallimberti Hotel, 3 star, is located near Venice, in the immediate surroundings of Mestre, in the tranquillity of an area where the town meets the countryside, at only 2 km from the motorway exit for Venice, and easily reachable from there in 4 min. – or by the road S.S. 11, bordering the Brenta River.

Our location allows our Guests to reach very quickly many famous tourist sites of the region: besides the incredible Venice (by bus -15 min -1 euro) built on the water, there is Padova (30 min), Treviso (30 min.), Vicenza (45 min) and Verona (60 min). Also there is Chioggia, Castelfranco, Bassano, Cortina d’Ampezzo, etc.

But there is more! Only 3 km from us there is a public boat terminal, from which you can easily reach Venice’s very centre in less than half an hour!

Right beside the Hotel begins the famous “Riviera del Brenta”, surrounded by it’s marvellous Venetian Villas in Palladian style, sumptuously built by the venetian Nobles during the last 5 centuries and every year visited by numbers of tourists. In fact, a few steps away from us, stands the famous Villa of Andrea Palladio "La Malcontenta", on the Brenta River: the entrance is 150 m away.

The Gallimberti Hotel has very comfortable rooms; each provided with private complete services with hairdryer, air conditioning, colour TV, mini-bar and telephone, perfect for a post-excursion relax. The small number of rooms allows us to offer a warm and familiar welcome, paying attention to the needs of every single Guest and, at the same time, lower rates than the City centre.

The surroundings of the Hotel are absolutely quiet, without traffic, crowned by the open spaces of the countryside and the lagoon borders, all at the same time only a few minutes from the most important roads, with very good public transportation – so that you can almost “forget” your car in our parking (free).

And then, after a full day of excursions, if you wish to have a restoring evening, based on the authentic flavours of local cooking, few steps away one of the most known restaurants of the Riviera for you awaits: our “Da Bepi el Ciosoto”, where fresh fish is king, as per the original Venetian recipes.

Cooked fish - natural-charcoal grill -, crustaceans and molluscs in all varieties, along with pasta (try the fabulous “black tagliolini” with shrimp and cherry tomato sauce) - Baked fish – Or raw fish: scampi, oysters, venus clams, raw sea bass, raw tuna-fish, raw sword-fish. And to finish: delicious home-made desserts.

By Car

From Padova highway, take exit to Mestre-Villabona and keep your right, to arrive to "Rotonda Romea" (roundabout). Take the first road on the right (named S.S. 309), that goes to Ravenna. After 1 km you see another roundabout: keep driving to Ravenna. After 500 meters you find a traffic-light, with the sign for Malcontenta, to the left, where you'll meet us after 400 meters.

From Trieste, after the toll, follow to Milan, and take "Marghera-Ravenna" exit.

By Bus

From the train station of “Venezia – Mestre”, catch bus no. 11 (every 30 mins): in 9 mins you will be in Malcontenta. Get off at the church stop. We are at 300 meters.
