Here at Well Cottage Guest House, Bristol, we offer bed & breakfast and self catering accommodation, “the best of both worlds”, in a cottage environment where we like to make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive until the end of your stay in a quiet location, ideal for business and leisure visitors to Bristol. We are close to Bristol’s major employment areas and very convenient for M4, M5 and M32, A38 and A4174 ring road, we are 6 miles from the city centre.

Here at Well Cottage Guest House, Bristol, we offer both self catering and bed & breakfast accommodation, “the best of both worlds”, in a cottage enviroment where we like to make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive until the end of your stay.

We have a variety of cosy rooms available in single, double, twin and family size, some ensuite and some with shared bathrooms. We also have a three bedroom cottage that can accommodate up to six people, ideal for work colleagues or holiday makers from one night to as many as required. All our rooms are comfortably furnished with multi channel TV and internet access. We also provide two well equipped guest kitchens to make your stay easier and more comfortable - particularly handy if you are staying for a few days or longer - where tea and coffee facilities are unlimited.

We provide a freshly cooked traditional English breakfast, with sausages handmade by our local butcher who also cures our bacon and also supplies our free range eggs, also available is a vegetarian breakfast and an extensive breakfast menu, to be enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere in our cosy homely dining room, we are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements but please let us know when you book. We also provide two well equipped guest kitchens so that you can self cater and make your stay easier and more comfortable, particularly handy if you are staying for a few days or longer. “Offering the best of both world’s under one roof”.

We are ideally placed for business and pleasure travellers as the M4/M5 motorway interchange is a short distance away and the city centre is easily accessible on a direct route by public transport or by car. Well Cottage is also well placed for Airbus, Rolls Royce, MOD, the University of West of the West of England and many business parks in the north of Bristol. For pleasure travellers the area offers easy access to the idyllic Cotswolds, the historic city of Bath, Bristol and its surrondings.

The city centre of Bristol is just 6 miles away and we have excellent local transport links for those not driving. Within Patchway, there is plenty to do, with several friendly public houses offering great food and good company as well as restaurants and shops that provide for all you need.

Cancellation Policy:

Unlike large hotels which sometimes seem to specialise in overbooking, we are a small B&B and do not. Cancellations, when they occur, are therefore a serious matter for us. We require 48 hours prior to the commencement of the first night's stay. Without this notice, the full cost of the accommodation reserved will be charged unless we can re-let the room. This also applies if you shorten your stay.

Arrival & Departure:

Rooms are normally available from 12 noon, however, please let us know your expected time of arrival as our reception is not manned 24/7. New arrivals are requested to check in before 10.00pm unless prior alternative arrangements have been made. Your room must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. During your stay you can come and go at any time that suits you; however, please have consideration for other guests.

Non Smoking Establishment:

We are a non smoking establishment and would ask guests to adhere to the policy in all the accommodation for the safety and comfort of other guests.

Children/Pets:

Sorry we do not accept children under 7 or pets.

Please note: Once you have paid your deposit and we receive your information from this website we will charge you the remainder of your stay to the card that you have provided and then send you confirmation.

By Car: Exit M5 J16. Take A38 in to Bristol. Proceed over Aztec West roundabout. Within a short distance the Travelers Rest pub (Hungry Horse) is seen on the left. Turn left immediately after the pub (The Common) and Well Cottage is on the next corner on the right hand side with the entrance at the rear of the building.

By Bus: Catch the number 73 from behind the main bus station next to the Beefeater or the 309/310 from the central bus station and ask for Patchway Aztec West roundabout. When you get off the bus walk down the Gloucester Road for a short distance and you will see the Travelers Rest (Hungry Horse) pub is on the left hand side. Turn left immediately after the pub (The Common) and Well Cottage is on the next corner on the right hand side with the entrance at the rear.

By Train: Catch a train to Bristol Parkway and then either get a taxi or the bus number 73 and follow the instructions above.
