We were made very welcome but the lack of a dining room (being refurbished) meant that we had breakfast in our room. As we didn't have a table, or any free surfaces, this was a bit tricky. Balancing plates on our laps was fun for the first two days but became a chore.
The location is fine, a bit far out near the ring road, but as we had a car we were OK.

Comfortable,family run, no-smoking guest house just three miles from the city centre of Liverpool and two miles from the football grounds of Liverpool (Anfield) and Everton (Goodison). PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT IN THE CITY CENTRE. There is a frequent bus to the city centre.

Each room has Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast is included in the price and a cooked breakfast is available at a small cost of £3. We are child and pet friendly and cater for special diets.

PLEASE NOTE OUR DOUBLE ROOM HAS A DOUBLE BED, NOT TWO SINGLES.

We were made very welcome but the lack of a dining room (being refurbished) meant that we had breakfast in our room. As we didn't have a table, or any free surfaces, this was a bit tricky. Balancing plates on our laps was fun for the first two days but became a chore.
The location is fine, a bit far out near the ring road, but as we had a car we were OK. There were buses but we decided not to use them (I'm retired and just a bit too old to walk as much as the others in our group were) - though that had been our intention.
The fridge and micro-wave in our room were nearly new, very clean, and easily used, and we made full use of these facilities.
Electric sockets were a bit of a problem, when all three of us needed to charge mobiles, laptops etc.
Overall it was a pretty fair deal, value for money - especially the full breakfast!
